membership.

We've made the onboarding process as streamlined as possible. From first contact to full launch, most schools are up and running within a single academic term.

Submit Interest

Fill out the application form below or email us directly. Tell us about your school, your student body, and your ambitions for an ASCEND chapter.

Initial Review Call

An ASCEND team member will schedule a short call to learn more about your school and walk you through what membership involves in practice.

School Assessment

We confirm your school meets ASCEND's eligibility criteria: international school status, a committed faculty advisor, and a minimum of 10 interested students.

Launch & Onboard

We provide your chapter with full onboarding materials, competition registration access, Spirit Store setup guidance, and a dedicated ASCEND contact.

Absolutely not. ASCEND is designed as a standalone organization — you don't need any prior DECA membership, familiarity with their formats, or existing business club infrastructure. We onboard schools from scratch and provide everything you need.
ASCEND is open to international schools in any country. We currently have member schools across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, and we are actively expanding. If your school is internationally accredited and has a motivated student body, you qualify.
Membership fees are tiered based on school size and regional context. We believe in accessible pricing and work with schools individually to find an arrangement that makes sense. Contact us for a detailed fee structure and we'll provide a transparent breakdown.
Yes. While the ideal onboarding window aligns with the start of an academic year, we accept applications year-round. Mid-year joiners may not be eligible for the current competition season but will be fully set up for the following cycle.
We ask that member schools have at least 10 committed student members to launch a chapter. This ensures a viable team for competitions and Spirit Store operations. There is no upper limit — the larger your chapter, the more you can achieve.
Yes. Each ASCEND chapter requires a faculty advisor — a teacher or administrator who provides oversight and supports the student leadership team. The advisor does not need to have a business background; enthusiasm and availability are what matter most.
The Spirit Store is a core ASCEND program and strongly encouraged for all member schools. We understand that some schools face space or logistical constraints, and we work with chapters to find an appropriate implementation that still delivers the real-world commerce experience ASCEND is known for.
